Magnus Svensson — Mönsterås, Sweden

Magnus Svensson was born in 1971 and lives in the small town Mönsterås at the coast of Småland in the southern part of Sweden. As a scout, hiking, sailing, canoeing, skiing and other kinds of outdoor activities has been a natural part of Magnus life since he was very young. He also likes to travel, favourite places for photography is southern and eastern Africa, Iceland and the northernmost parts of Scandinavia. Magnus lived for two years in Alta in Norway. The first year he studied nature photography and outdoor life at the school Øytun
folkehøgskole, the second year he worked at the same school just to get a chanse to stay another year at 70 degrees north, to experience two
mounths of polar night one more time, and to drive the dog-sled as a handler to a local musher. Magnus has also teached photography in the school Ålands folkhögskola in Åland, Finland.
