Karolina Tillman — Sweden

My interest for photography started during a study trip to South Africa in 2005. I was truely fascinated by the contrast to the Swedish nature and the fact that two landscapes can be so different from each other and stil both being unbelievable beutiful. I wanted to see more of that variation!

Later I talked to a guy about what to do after upper secondary school and he gave me the suggestion to study photography. I went home to Sweden and applied to Ålands Folk High School and the next autumn I moved to Åland fortheir education in photographing nature and outdoor life. After the education the interest for photograpy had become strong and it\\\'s stil increasing every day! And so does the curiosity and the inclination of experience new places and enviroments.

I\\\'m born, 1987, and raised in Lindesberg, Västmanland, but for the moment I live in Halmstad, Halland.

Together with seven other photograpers I\\\'ve started Nordic Photo Group, as a platform
for common projects. Our most recent project is a portrait of Transylvania, Romania.
