Anna Hagvärn — Sköndal, Sweden
ANNA HAGVÄRN — VENDELSÖ, SWEDEN
Early in life the camera proved to be a great tool for both expressing and exploring. In my late twenties I am now a freelance photojournalist covering a wide range of topics, from outdoor life and travelling to humanitarian issues and politics. My biggest interest is traveling, the favorite being the southern parts of Africa. Also, I never get too much of the great outdoors, preferably experienced on horseback.
Caring for the environment is a daily thing for me. It can be the little things, like avoiding using that extra plastic bag, or bigger decisions like booking a train ticket instead of flying. I try to buy ecological and locally produced food, not to waste water or electricity, I recycle my garbage and I now and then shop second hand clothes. Living in a big city makes it easy for me to only use public transport.
